Gary Craven's Bubblers
The pics I sent are of 3 different methods for keeping a hole open that Jamie has
discussed. The innertube/lightbulb is shown in my lower, shallower (24") pond in conjunction
with an air bubbler. The others show an air bubbler in the 4' deep upper pond (the larger
open hole) and a 300gph pump bubbling 12" below the surface (the domed opening). To this
point ALL methods work fine. Water is crystal clear and the "boys" are well (except he
Fantail that stuck his mouth in the pump intake and plugged it). (Posted January 2004)
