During the next few months, members will be hosting meetings at their homes. If there is anyone interested in hosting a meeting at their home please let me know by giving me a call at 515-244-1150. I am in the process of switching e-mail providers so it maybe safest to call me.
The Capitol City Chapter June meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 28th at 7pm at the home and garden of Chuck Cushman. His home is located in Ankeny at 627 SE Kensington Road. He says it is a white town home on the corner of Waywin and Kensington, which is a couple blocks south of Magazine Road. We hope to see you there. The Top of Iowa Water Garden Association will meet Monday, June 20th at 7:00 p.m. at the home of Duane and Deb O'Banion in Nora Springs. Their address is 14 6th St. N. W. It is a few blocks north of Casey's General Store. Most of the evening will be spent planning the water garden tour. Members' attendance at this meeting will be appreciated.
The 2005 Top of Iowa Water Garden Tour will be held on July 30th. There will be 11 gardens on the tour in the Garner area. There will be 8 gardens in Garner and 3 in the country. Hours of the tour will be 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We will be giving a portion of the proceeds to Central Gardens in Clear Lake. More information can be obtained in calling Ed Schroeder at 641-923-3512.
