Currently planned meetings for 2005:
Tues., January 25, 7pm, 4330 N. Baseline in Des Moines
Andy Doll, Tetra products representative, will talk about new products and answer questions.
Due to unexpected events our January 25th meeting at 7pm has been moved from the ISU extension office to my house.
My address is 4330 N. Baseline in Des Moines. Take the 2nd Ave exit off of Interstate 35/80. Head south of the interstate a couple miles, you'll pass Broadway and Firestone will be on the left. Go under a railroad bridge, you take the next left and head east on 43rd one block and turn north on Baseline. We are the gray house in the middle of the block on the west side of the street.
If you come from the south take 2nd Ave past Euclid (Park Fair is where the drivers license station is). We are several blocks north of Euclid, you'll pass a Git-n-Go on the corner of Aurora and 43rd is the next street, you can only turn right if you are headed north. We are a block east and you will turn north again.

Rob Prichard, Liquid Landscapes, will talk about waterfalls.
Wed., March 23, 7pm, ISU extension office, NE 14th
Dave Rowe, Iowa Outdoor Products, will talk about hardscaping, and planting around the pond, he will bring samples of some of their rock products and show some slides.
Robin Wineland is the new secretary for the chapter.
The Top of Iowa Water Garden Association will meet Monday, January 17 at the Bob Bartlett Farm. Bob is a Master Gardener and has a unique barn to show off and this is where the meeting will be held. The program will be about starting plants from seeds and other valuable information about getting our gardens going in the spring. The directions to his place is as follows: The address is 12136 Lark Ave. (or County Road S34). It is the first place north of Burchinal on the West side of the road. Or if you are coming from the south it is 4 1/2 miles south of Thomas Machine Co. on Hwy 106 between Clear Lake and Mason City. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. See You There!
