The Polk County Chapter of the CIWGA will hold its first meeting of the new year on January 28, 7:00PM, at the ISU Extension Office, 5201 NE 14Th St., Des Moines.
The new year will begin at the beginning. Doug Rieck, Polk County CIWGA President will talk about building a pond and also cover issues related to winter and spring chores. In coming months we will build on Doug's presentation with topics such as filters and more advanced presentations on streams and water falls.
Be sure to bring your ideas on the 28th. You can help us set the topics for upcoming meetings.
The Top of Iowa Chapter will meet January 20 at 7:00 pm at the Cerro Gordo County Extension Office in Mason City, 2023 South Federal Avenue (across from McDonald's). The program will be Chris Wendell talking about Pond Filtration.
